'सम्झौताले जलवायु मुद्दा कमजोर'

नेपालको वार्ताकार टोलीका अर्का सदस्य मन्जित ढकालले जलवायु परिवर्तनको प्रभाव पुष्टि गर्न नेपालले अध्ययन र अनुसन्धानलाई जोड दिनुपर्ने बताए। 'विश्व तापमान वृद्धिदरलाई १.५ वा २ डिग्री सेल्सियस कुन कायम गर्ने भन्ने स्पष्ट हुनुपर्छ,' उनले भने, 'यो वृद्धिदरले नेपाललाई के प्रभाव पार्छ त्यो पनि अध्ययन हुनुपर्छ।'
जलवायु सम्मेलनमा भाषणमा बजेट कार्यक्रम बढी Nagariknews 19 September, 2014 'हाम्रा प्रधानमन्त्रीको सम्बोधन सम्मेलनमा महत्वपूर्ण मानिनेछ। हामीले हाम्रो देशको मात्र होइन, अल्पविकसित मुलुकका तर्फबाट पनि प्रस्ट अडान राख्न सक्नुपर्छ,' ढकालले बिहीबार नागरिकसँग भने।  उनका अनुसार जलवायु परिवर्तनबाट सिर्जित जोखिम कम गर्न आफूले गरिरहेका काम र आगामी योजनालाई समेत सम्बोधनले समेट्नुपर्छ। 'हामी अल्पविकसित मुलुकको पनि नेतृत्व गर्छौं भन्ने कुरा बिर्सनु हुन्न,' उनले भने। विश्व तापक्रम वृद्धिदरलाई १.५ डिग्रीभन्दा बढी हुन नदिन विकसित तथा प्रदूषक राष्ट्रलाई सचेत गराउनुपर्ने ढकालको सुझाव छ।

नेपालका जलवायु परिवर्तनका वार्ताकार मन्जित ढकालका अनुसार महासचिव मुनले जलवायु परिवर्तनबाट सिर्जित समस्याबाट जुध्न प्रभावकारी काम नभएकाले र राजनीतिक नेतृत्व समस्या समाधानमा उदासीन देखिएकाले विशेष कार्यक्रम गर्न लागेका हुन्। 'प्राविधिक कुरा गरेर विश्वको सबैभन्दा जल्दोबल्दो समस्यालाई पन्छाउने प्रवृत्ति बढेपछि महासचिव मुन आफैंले यो सम्मेलन गर्न लागेका हुने,' उनले भने। ढकालका अनुसार राजनीतिक नेतृत्वलाई जिम्मेवार बनाउन सम्मेलन गर्न लागिएको हो। 'सम्मेलनमा सबैले आ–आफ्ना योजना र प्रतिबद्धता प्रस्तुत गर्नेछन्,' ढकालले भने, 'त्यही दिन मुनले साझा घोषणापत्र जारी गर्नेछन्।'
